Knee pain after or during running or exercise is very common! We have been helping Josh after his epic lockdown challenges this year! Josh managed to run 6 marathons in 5 days then ran for 24 hours straight covering over 100 miles! The crazy thing is he did this all in his 14ft garden!
Josh has been suffering from knee pain after running such huge distances. Patellofemoral knee pain is very common and we see this in runners every day at the clinic. We have started treatment using soft tissue treatments, dry needling/ acupuncture and taping plus a rehab program to strengthen Josh’s knees for his next challenge. This should reduce his knee pain quickly and get him back running quickly with a much lower risk of re-injury. Watch this space!
