FAQs
What steps are we taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in our clinics?
We are taking virus spread control extremely seriously and we are taking every step possible to reduce risk to our staff and patients. Firstly we are screening clinicians and patients making sure that they are symptom free, have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms for at least 14 days and are not in any high risk categories.
At face to face appointments our Clinicians will be wearing full PPE including single use gloves, aprons, masks and goggles. We are also asking patients to bring gloves and basic masks to wear at appointments.
We are asking patients to wait outside as to prevent the risk of passing within 2 meters in the clinic. All windows will remain open to improve room ventilation. All contact surfaces will be disinfected after every patient, we have strict protocols to ensure that this occurs consistently and thoroughly between patients. All payments will be processed online to reduce the need to touch surfaces and speed the process of entering and leaving the clinic.
If you have any further concerns please contact us, we are more than happy to discuss this in more detail with you.
Who should I see?
As we all work in similar ways in 1 hour or 30 minute appointments it comes down to availability and your preferences. We can discuss your case between clinicians if you so wish. Ricky is also qualified to provide shockwave therapy.
If you’re still unsure give us a call or send us an email, we’d be very happy to assist you.
How many appointments will I need?
Expect 3-10 sessions to reduce pain and improve function. Treatment frequency reduces as your symptoms decrease or mobility/ postural imbalances are restored. Many people then like to use our services periodically to improve mobility and reduce chances of recurrence.
If we can’t help you we quickly send GP letters or letters to specialists to direct you to the right place.
